What is Evolution Arts & Natural Health?
Evolution Arts and Natural Health was established in 1993 as a non-profit making enterprise, to provide affordable education in the arts and health to the community of Brighton and Hove and beyond.
Alan Mars currently offers individual coaching and group classes at Evolution.

Singing re-establishes a full and easy pattern of breathing, releases the muscular system and alleviates stress. It s a way of expressing your feelings and of linking up with other people. Alan has been teaching Voice, Singing and the Alexander Technique privately and in London s top performing arts schools since 1982. He has also been teaching Confidence courses privately, in drama & music schools and in business settings since 1982. He is the author of Presenter Being Your Best (Hodder). He is a celtic harpist, singer and reciter and busks occasionally on the streets of Brighton and Hove
Voice, Singing & the Alexander Technique
Learn some simple and effective ways to use your voice with greater ease and power. Experiment with simple vocal and breathing exercises. Explore the anatomy of confidence. Sing some beautiful group songs and rounds. Wrap your mouth around a rich language text Everyone is welcome to this workshop especially confirmed non-singers

Confidence Tricks
Has your confidence or voice ever faltered during a presentation, a meeting, an audition or a musical solo? Good news A reliably confident voice is based on the repeated practice of surprisingly simple procedures. Surprise yourself... experience increasing poise, energy & flow in any challenging situation An intensely practical workshop drawing on Alexander Technique, vocal coaching, centering skills & specially adapted performing arts techniques. This workshop will consist of a mix of group and individual coaching. It will be both stretching and supportive.
