Home to the Workforce Development Institute and the ACT CenterSM, Macomb Community College's Michigan Technical Education Center (M-TEC) is a 40, 600 square-foot, $7. 5 million facility, on the site of the former Warren Tank Plant.
This dynamic learning environment is distinguished by its design, which includes robotic training cells, integrated CAD/ CAM, and a large flexible high-bay space that can be rapidly adapted to business needs. The M-TEC also contains a resource center, computer labs and classrooms offering the most advanced training technologies to ensure we have the ability to effectively serve your workforce training needs.
Macomb's M-TEC is guided by an Advisory Board that includes local business leaders, educators, government and organized labor. Its task is to ensure the M-TEC responds effectively to local needs and maintains the highest level of quality.
