Focus on Ability: ADA For Managers & Supervisors
ADA
The Americans with Disabilities Act has the most far-reaching impact on the U.S. workplace since the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Yet confusion remains regarding such key concepts as disability , qualified person with a disability and reasonable accommodation and regarding how to deal effectively (and legally) with persons with disabilities in all aspects of employment. This workshop is designed to address such confusion and to enable management personnel to comply fully with the law and forge a productive and harmonious workforce affording equal opportunity to all.
Engaging presenters/facilitators incorporate interactive exercises, lively discussion, dynamic presentations, powerful visual aids, and an information-packed participant manual. Attention is paid to applying the subject matter content to the participants' own work environment and concerns. Available in a variety of formats and lengths.
