The Americans with Disabilities Act has the most far-reaching impact on the workplace since the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Yet many Americans are uncertain about: their rights and responsibilities under the law such key concepts as disability , qualified person with a disability and reasonable accommodation and how to interact effectively with coworkers with disabilities. This workshop is designed to address such uncertainty and to enable employees to comply fully with the law and participate in a productive and harmonious workforce affording equal opportunity to all.

2. Comply with ADA (and other Equal Opportunity laws/regulations) and organizational policies.

5. Appreciate the need to self-identify and assist in implementing reasonable accommodations.
6. Become more effective and comfortable in working with people with disabilities.
