- S asked: is a private, not-for-profit health care accrediting body. We have a cadre of surveyors - clinicans, including physicians, nurses, etc., who go out to health care organizations (hospitals, home care, behavioral health care, etc.) to survey compliance with our standards. Some of these folks (all of whom have had leaderhsip positions in health care organizations before joining ) need to better understand the art of diplomacy, when interacting with executive leadership of health care organizations. It's a tough job. is "invited" into these organizations to perform surveys and then must go on to cite the organizations in areas in which the quality and safety of the care they provide may be questionnable. Some surveyors struggle with the "breaking the bad news syndrome" and others can't shed their leadership roles from the past and can really alienate the customer. Since they are all out in the field, I'm looking for some way to provide them with high caliber distance learning. Thanks.
