Today a manager must lead, not just manage. To do this there are a number of essential qualities an effective manager must possess. Among others, these include intelligence and the ability to work hard, to think and communicate in an organized way, and to present oneself with confidence, authority and poise.

The Effective Manager
Our program, THE EFFECTIVE MANAGER, offers a unique approach to help managers deal with the pressures of managing people and the many situations occurring in the normal course of business. Our training addresses three factors. These are the psychological factor, the physiological factor and the cognitive/organizational factor.
All interaction in business includes an inextricable mix of the three factors. Managers must organize and deliver their thoughts clearly and confidently. They must not distract the listener with nervous physical habits. Finally, they must understand and regulate their emotional reactions. Demonstrating the influence of these three factors within each participant is the primary goal of the training. This understanding through practice increases their interpersonal effectiveness as managers.
The program is first conducted in a day and a half initial seminar for a group; two half day sessions for an individual. After the initial sessions there is a three-month follow-up period. This is done via telephone and email. During the follow-up period all the factors are reviewed and refined.
