The Four Week Training Session is more than simply covering the concepts. In the four weeks of training, the Black Belt participants must demonstrate their proficiencies in using six sigma tools and techniques, in addition to showing actual dollar savings and customer benefits through actual project work. The course is taught in 4 modules each of 5 days duration. The modules are separated by approximately 5 weeks. Each student must work on a project during the course and deliverables must be met prior to the beginning of the next module. It is expected that a Management sponsor will review the candidate's progress between modules.
