Week 1
In this week, students will learn what ASP is all about. Over the next two weeks, students will be learning about essential skills needed. This week's skills are on the basic ASP side.
Week 2
This week, students will learn about needed databasing skills. Databasing is an essential skill for ASP development. They will receive information as to where to learn SQL, and will receive hints and tips for working with databases through ASP.
Week 3
This week, students will learn how to market themselves to prospective employers. They will learn how to write an effective ASP proposal. They will also learn about job prospects, and where to look for work.
Week 4
This week is focussed on giving a taste of ASP. Students will design a simple page, receive ASP hints and tips and will learn how to test ASP pages on their computers.
| This course discusses where to start with learning ASP, what skills are important to develop, how to market themselves to prospective employers, where to look for ASP work and starts you off with a small taste of ASP, so you know what you're getting into. It is directed towards all interested parties in ASP, from the absolute novices to those already programming in another language. |
