Full Description
Provides direction on designing an environment conducive to learning, including the physical design of the classroom. Also, social and emotional issues are explored.


Outcomes:
Students will be able to:

* Develop an educational environment which is conducive to effective teaching and learning.

* Understand how the physical design of a classroom can affect students' ability to learn.

* Address issues associated with learning disabilities and social-emotional issues.

This course is designed as one credit hour or 15 hours of professional development. Check with
the institution to be sure if credit is offered for this course.


Assessment:
The student will take an objective-based post exam consisting of 10 to 15 multiple choice and true or false questions. A score of 85% or higher is considered successful completion of the course.
