This course is aimed at new or inexperienced company safety directors. The course will help those safety directors master the essentials. This course can be completed as quickly as you care to, depending on how much time you can devote to it. Note that we have set a 90 day period. It is always a best practice to take your time and make sure that you understand each lesson in full detail.
The Safety Director course is an online, self-paced course that will assist new and experienced safety directors improve their skills. Through readings, web-searches, online discussions, and other directed activities, the students will improve their understanding of safety in their industry including OSHA requirements. Assessment
In addition to the assignments for each unit, students will complete a major project such as develop and present safety training or develop written company policy for one or more topics.
