To protect those workers exposed to hazardous chemicals in all industrial sectors, the Federal Government established the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (HCS), also known as the right to know law. This standard is based on a simple concept: that employees have both a need and a right to know the hazards and the identities of the chemicals they are exposed to when working. This course is designed to assist both employers and employees in learning about work hazards and how to protect themselves. This course can be completed as quickly as you care to, depending on how much time you can devote to it. Note that we have set a 90 day access period to the course with further extensions up to 6 months if needed. It is always a best practice to take your time and make sure that you understand each lesson in full detail. Complete in as little as 8 hours.
