It is important for teacher's today to understand basic functions of school administration. At first glance, finance issues appear to be beyond the interest of classroom teachers; however, finances often directly influence the quality of life in the classroom. Further, governance and organization also play an important role in a teacher's career. Finally, Both new and experienced teachers and administrators must educate themselves if they want a clear understanding of negligent liability law. Educators must be responsive to all situations and must understand that their responsibilities are broader than they may believe. This course is designed as one credit hour or 15 hours of professional development. Check with the institution to be sure if credit is offered for this course. |

The student will take an objective-based post exam consisting of 10 to 15 multiple choice and true or false questions. A score of 85% or higher is considered successful completion of the course. |
