Outcomes:
Understanding of the importance and various types of instructional curricula shall be attained. Also, as a teacher working with special needs children you should know about some laws that define terms and give special rights to children with special needs. Further, technology can help enhance education, just as education can help enhance technology, and the growing trand in integrating technology into today's classrooms cannot be ignored. Finally, all teachers have a first classroom at some point, and knowing what to expect and how to be prepared are always beneficial.
This course is designed as one credit hour or 15 hours of professional development. Check with the institution to be sure if credit is offered for this course.
Assessment:
The student will take an objective-based post exam consisting of 10 to 15 multiple choice and true or false questions. A score of 85% or higher is considered successful completion of the course.
