The principles of instructional design, including how people learn, what the various sources of learning are, and people discovered the sources of knowledge that people rely on and have built educational curriculum on today. Gagne's Conditions of Learning as one theory of learning is also investigated. |

After completing this course, you will be able to design instruction using the Gagne’s Instructional Systems design. The specific objectives will be the following: * Analyze and determine an instructional goal * Analyze learners within the context of the instructional goal * Develop performance objectives * Develop instructional strategy * Determine and design Instructional Events and materials/media assessment * Develop assessment instruments * Reflect on and evaluate specific teaching/learning transfer * Design formative and summative evaluation This course is designed as one credit hour or 15 hours of professional development. Check with the institution to be sure if credit is offered for this course. |

The student will take an objective-based post exam consisting of 10 to 15 multiple choice and true or false questions. A score of 85% or higher is considered successful completion of the course. |
