| Other theories of learning are explored to give a diverse perspective of educational theories and gain a better understanding of how people learn. Research information on the psychology of learning and educational theories by Gestalt, Skinner, Piaget, Vygotsky, Bandura, and Weiner will be presented. |

After completing this course, you will be familiar with the theories related to design instruction. The specific objectives will be the following: * Become knowledgeable of educational theories, the psychology learning, and the principles of instructional design by reading assigned and class presentations. * Apply appropriate principles of learning and instruction, as well as, aesthetic and technical design in developing instructional plans, materials, and web pages to meet the needs of diverse learners. This course is designed as one credit hour or 15 hours of professional development. Check with the institution to be sure if credit is offered for this course. |

The student will take an objective-based post exam consisting of 10 to 15 multiple choice and true or false questions. A score of 85% or higher is considered successful completion of the course. |
