Investigates some of the corrective and/or supportive service required to help a child with a disability benefit from special education. This course examines speech-language pathology, social work services, transportation services, and counseling services.
Outcomes:
Students will be able to: * Identify and explain speech-language services. * Identify and explain social work services. * Identify and explain transportation services. * Identify and explain counseling services.
This course is designed as one credit hour or 15 hours of professional development. Check with the institution to be sure if credit is offered for this course.
Assessment:
The student will take an objective-based post exam consisting of 10 to 15 multiple choice and true or false questions. A score of 85% or higher is considered successful completion of the course.
