| This course examines functional assessment and test instruments. Understanding tests and pre-school assessments are also reviewed. May be taken with a companion course, LH 156. |

Students will be able to: * Identify the key steps to conducting a Functional Behavior Assessment. * Differentiate between and explain the tests utilized to determine intelligence, achievement, and social behavior . * Learn the basic concepts used in the administration and understanding of tests. * Understand the importance of pre-school assessment. This course is designed as one credit hour or 15 hours of professional development. Check with the institution to be sure if credit is offered for this course. |

The student will take an objective-based post exam consisting of 10 to 15 multiple choice and true or false questions. A score of 85% or higher is considered successful completion of the course. |
