Students will be able to: * Learn the assessment of school learning focuses on the information teachers need in order to develop, analyze, and interpret tests for planning and monitoring instruction. * Understand how effective planning is based on having a conceptual model, knowing one’s students, integrating IEP goals and objectives, and following through with instruction and assessment. * Know the role that the external system and the environment play in planning instructional strategies for the academic success of students. * Learn the purpose for establishing standards for academic instruction. This course is designed as one credit hour or 15 hours of professional development. Check with the institution to be sure if credit is offered for this course. |
| The student will take an objective-based post exam consisting of 10 to 15 multiple choice and true or false questions. A score of 85% or higher is considered successful completion of the course. |
