Students will be able to: * Learn several points which must be given consideration in attempting to teach fractions and decimals. * Adapt the curriculum to meet the special needs of learners. * Use real-life situations and tools to explain measurement and geometry to learners. * Learn effective practices solving basic algebraic equations and other important activity practices. * Understand how to provide a learning environment where students can maximize their potential and feel secure in taking educational risks. This course is designed as one credit hour or 15 hours of professional development. Check with the institution to be sure if credit is offered for this course. |

The student will take an objective-based post exam consisting of 10 to 15 multiple choice and true or false questions. A score of 85% or higher is considered successful completion of the course. |
