Students will learn how to apply the advanced features of Microsoft Excel 2000 to work with records and ranges; sort, outline, and filter lists; and import and export data. In addition, students will be taught how to use PivotTables, PivotCharts, and data analysis tools, as well as how to merge and link workbooks. In teaching how to share workbooks, the importance of proper management and password protection is stressed.

Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: --Use data forms and named ranges --Apply data filters and use macros --Import and export data to and from databases and HTML --Use data analysis tools, such as solver, scenarios, and goal seek --Protect, share, and manage workbooks Assessment Student performance is assessed by cumulative training time, number of lessons completed and, where tests are available, the percent correct.
