This course familiarizes students with many features of Microsoft Excel 2000, including entering text and formulas, moving data, formatting worksheet appearance, and manipulating charts. Students will also be able to apply the advanced features of Excel 2000 to work with records and ranges; sort, outline, and filter lists; and import and export data.
This course familiarizes students with many features of Microsoft Excel 2000, including entering text and formulas, moving data, formatting worksheet appearance, and manipulating charts.
Students will learn to work with lists, databases, and functions; format and link spreadsheets; and use 3-D references and Microsoft Map.
Students will use Excel and the Web to save and work with files and Web pages. Selected areas of instruction include using AutoCorrect and AutoFormat; understanding, using, and customizing templates; and working with data maps.
Students will learn to apply the advanced features of Excel 2000 to work with records and ranges; sort, outline, and filter lists; and import and export data. PivotTables, PivotCharts, and data analysis tools and how to merge and link workbooks will also be taught. In teaching how to share workbooks, the importance of proper management and password protection is stressed.

Assessment
Student performance is assessed by cumulative training time, number of lessons completed and, where tests are available, the percent correct. Many courses also have a pre- and post-test where the pre-test will automatically assign only the lessons needed to achieve course mastery.
