This course introduces students to some new features of Microsoft Office XP. It covers the major features that apply to all of the applications. This includes Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and Microsoft Outlook. This intermediate course strives to broaden and develop the intermediate skills that students already possess.
This intermediate course introduces students to some new features of Microsoft Office XP.
It covers the major features that apply to all of the applications. This includes Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and Microsoft Outlook. Microsoft PowerPoint will show students how to use clip art images and drawing tools to enhance presentations and templates. Microsoft Outlook will teach students how to work with signatures, use the Personal Address Book, categorize contacts and messages, archive mail, and work with events and meetings. Customizing worksheets by changing worksheet attributes, using lists to store and organize worksheet data, and using functions in financial and logical formulas are some features that Microsoft Excel will teach the students. Microsoft Access will show students how to use tables, queries, forms, reports, and data access pages. The material is all presented through explanatory text, real-world scenarios, interactive steps, and questions to test and reinforce the material covered.
