In this course, students will become familiar with the basic aspects of Microsoft PowerPoint 2000, including creating presentations and working with visual elements, as well as such advanced features as masters, templates, and animation. Significant emphasis is placed on utilizing graphics in presentations; students will receive instruction in how to arrange clip art and apply animation and effects.
Students will also learn how to finalize and view their presenations and design presentations for the Web. Mastery of this course will empower an experienced user of Microsoft PowerPoint 2000 to apply advanced visual effects, import and export elements, work across applications, and prepare presentations for delivery in many different ways.
Students will learn how to customize backgrounds and color schemes, modify charts and pictures, and ready presentations for 35mm slides and the Web. In addition, students will be taught a number of tips and shortcuts that will allow them to work more efficiently.
