This course introduces students to the basic features of Microsoft PowerPoint 97. Students will learn how to design PowerPoint presentations on their computers through examples and interactive exercises. They will learn to use templates, create tables, and prepare a presentation for printing. The user will also be introduced to the most powerful aspects of Microsoft PowerPoint 97 as they become more advanced.

| PIN code provided for this course allows unlimited on-line access for 90 days. This course introduces students to the basic features of Microsoft PowerPoint 97. They will learn to use templates, create tables, and prepare a presentation for printing. As the course becomes more advanced, students will learn how to use WordArt, create clip art collections, and apply animation effects. Students will also learn how to create and format speaker notes and handouts. Other topics that will be covered include designing moderately complicated presentations and working with multiple slide masters. The user will also be introduced to the most powerful aspects of Microsoft PowerPoint 97 as they become more advanced. Students will learn how to enhance text with text anchors; search for and replace fonts; work with font embedding; explore principles of graphic design; and use special effects. |
