This course is designed to teach the computer technician the skills needed to pass the CompTIA A+ Certification tests. This first of a 4-part or day (i.e. "day" - a really full day - about 10 hours of training) course covers basic concepts of DOS, including commands and navigation; Windows 9x and 2000, including folders and files; control settings, such as CMOS, DMA, and IRQ; explanation and installation of CPUs, expansion cards, and systemboards; floppy and hard drive installation and configuration; and hard drive management.
