Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. Identify and use various kinds of punctuation correctly. 2. Use commas correctly and to recognize and revise comma errors. 3. Use semicolons and colons correctly. 4. Use hyphens correctly. 5. Use dashes and parentheses correctly.
Assessment
1. Students will complete a variety of exercises that reinforce the material. 2. After each lesson, students will take a multiple-choice quiz. 3. After the final lesson, students will take a multiple-choice exam.
