Establishing Yourself as a Successful Copywriter In the first week, we will define what being a copywriter is all about. We will explain what it takes to be a successful copywriter and what you need to do to make it. Specific reference will be made to certain procedures and steps required to produce winning and successful copy. During this initial week, the students will have a chance to evaluate a product or service they have or perform, with the idea of developing copy for it. Class rules, homework assignments, and test will be provided as well.
Understanding, Evaluating, and Explaining Certain Concepts Related to Copywriting In week #1 you learned the early stages of being a copywriter. In week two we get down to more hardcore rules, procedures, and topics needed to succeed as a copywriter. It''''s just not enough to sit down and write about your product or service. More is required. You have to provide something tangible, something that will attract readers, and keep them reading. This week we will provide what that is. During this week you will begin writing copy for your product or service. You will keep the copy because as you go through this course you will be adding to it. As in week one, a test will be given.
Learn How to Spice It Up In Week #3, you will learn how to spice up your writing so as to attract your reader. You will be provided the secrets that always get the attention of the reader and forces the reader to keep on reading. You will be shown how to put these secrets down in a writing format the proper way. Your weekly assignment will be to add to your existing copy what you have learned this week. Again, like in the previous weeks, a test will be given.
Wrap-up Time This is the week where we will wrap up everything you will need to know to produce successful copy. You will be shown some basic principles that you will need to bring your copy to a close. You will learn the most important aspect of copywriting and why you need to use it. In this week you will finish your copy and hand it in for review. Also a final test will be given.
