Job Role
As a network specialist, you ensure that people can access the information they need when they need it, plus you also prevent unwanted users from entering the system. Using cable, fiber optics, or even wireless communications, you connect users to your company's computer system. You have a thorough understanding of current networking technology for local area networks (LANs), metropolitan area networks (MANs), wide area networks (WANs), and the Internet. You identify and document problems, their causes, and their ramifications.
Network specialists are responsible for the security and administration of the networks that are now prevalent in many companies. They also design and implement systems that keep networks functioning in the event of a power failure or other emergency. Larger companies often employ several network specialists, each of whom performs a different function. In smaller companies, one or two people do everything relating to network administration and maintenance.

Training with Affordable Training can take place out of office hours or in your spare time - so it will not interfere with your daily schedule. You can benefit from personalised one to one training with the feel of a classroom. Training comes to life with our full motion video or multimedia, challenging labs, critical assessment and real-world insight from experts with vast experience in the subject matter.
It is the most effective yet affordable form of training available and is particularly favoured by SME's, individuals and Public Sector Bodies who wish to learn up-to 75% faster than expensive instructor led training and steal a march on rival competitors. Our highly proven methodology provides an unequalled training experience with results!
Computer Based Training (CBT) will also provide you with a useful add-on to formal training courses. Vital staffs do not leave the site to attend courses and there are no travelling or subsistence expenses involved. You can also train multiple users at the same time by uploading the course material onto your intranet/internet or extranet server and still receive the same levels of one to one service just like in a classroom.
While most computer based training courses are one-half or less of your screen, our instructor-led cbt courses are available in Full Screen Resolution and since they are from our original digital masters, they are of the highest quality. What good is a visual presentation if you have trouble identifying what is on your screen?
Full Motion Video and interaction offers you full control of what you see and hear on your screen. If you would like the instructor to repeat what he just said, you simply click on the rewind button and you may listen as often as you like. Each section is also identified with a digital index to help you find your place if you have to pause in the middle of a Lesson.
You have Complete Control of the Video Streams, down to each second of time, enabling you to go directly to and from any section of the training series. You may replay any single part or all of the information as many times as you think necessary to master the concepts.
Practice sessions consist of hints that guide a learner towards the correct solution to a problem. Practice sessions also contain sample solutions.
