This program was designed for students new to Linux or Unix, and introduces you to the fundamentals of the Red Hat 9.x version of the Linux operating system. Upon completion, you will be thoroughly familiar with the origins, benefits, drawbacks, and uses of Linux. Hands-on lessons guide you through the ins and outs of installation, file and user management, editing and printing files, and the X Windows environment.

Red Hat Linux v.9.x Hands-On
It is important to realize that the primary goal of this program is to develop the skills that you must have in order to successfully utilize Red Hat Linux workstation and server operating systems in a corporate environment.
If your final goal is hands-on knowledge + certification, you may want to look at Red Hat certification program topics and compare. The Red Hat certification exam is based on working knowledge more than any other certification exam (it could be compared with Cisco CCIE only), therefore, our program is the first step in the right direction toward hands-on knowledge of Linux. Then you can take a training that prepares to the exam questions itself or learn with a book on your own and pass the exam at our facility.
