Training Provided by Applied Computer Training & Technology The Incident Handling and Response class was developed to meet current demands of DOD (Department of Defense) and the growing needs of the computer industry. It provides the student with the level of knowledge needed as part of the DOD and industry requirements for employment as an entry-level information security technician. Students gain incident handling goals and principles. This class describes risk analysis and how this activity is used in incident handling, explains and applies a methodology for incident handling, describes honeypots and their uses, discusses special considerations in dealing with insider attacks, and explains and develops the essential elements in forming and managing an incident response team. Tuition Includes: Total training hours: 40 hours. Course, books, and handouts.
