The Vulnerability Assessment class was developed to meet current demands of DOD (Department of Defense) and the growing needs of the computer industry. It provides the student with the level of knowledge needed as part of the DOD and industry requirements for employment as an entry-level information security technician. Students gain a solid background on how to identify current network security concerns, conduct a thorough network vulnerability assessment, determine what tools will be necessary to conduct the assessment, and an understanding of the network assessment results.
