STM offers both a 3 hour class, an onsite ESD audit and gap analysis, and ESD 2020 Certification Preparation.
PREPARATION FOR ESD 2020 Certification:
Audit and training performed at your site. Gap analysis report drafted and delivered within 2 business days.
Following the requirements found in ANSI/ ESD S20. 20.
To become ANSI/ ESD S20. 20 certified (aka "registered") the customer must complete all action items listed on the Gap Analysis Report (see below "Audit Activities" section). STM can greatly help you with your goal by first performing a gap analysis, then helping you complete all action items and meet all requirements. Then a Registrar auditor will visit the site. STM has been dealing exclusively with BSI Registrar services. STM does not represent BSI nor can it speak for them or their charges. The customer should contact BSI (925-648-3247) and request a quote for their final audit(s) to complete to formal certification process.

During this audit STM personnel will review the entire company operation, from a ESD compliance perspective. The company tour will include the following areas: Receiving, Incoming Inspection, Storeroom, Kitting, Production, Shipping, and any area where ESD sensitive components/ assemblies are handled or stored. The audit will include observation, interviews, and document review. Following the audit STM will sit with management and review the findings. Then STM will submit a formal Gap Analysis Report within 2 business days. -- If customer seeks ESD-20. 20 certification, then STM will also need to review any documentation, training, and leadership connected with ESD activities.
After the audit, the customer will decide which parts of the Gap Analysis Report they will process and which parts they want STM to process. Following that determination, STM will submit a formal quote for any further STM services. Most additional work by STM is performed at a rate of $125 hour.
