Complying with the letter of the law when it comes to Sarbanes-Oxley is not enough. Laws cover specific past actions, not potential future liabilities. Therefore, to train managers and employees on what to do/not to do under Sarbanes-Oxley is only a start: you need ethical standards and training to ensure that people make effective choices in the future. The goal of any ethics training is to ensure that people understand that ethical choices are the best choices for themselves and their organizations.
Ethical Choices is a customizable half-day course that covers the key statutes (Sarbox, FCPA, etc.) but goes beyond compliance to activate the core values to enable people to do the right thing at all times. We use case studies drawn from real events to identify ethical dilemmas, then guide people through a process that leads to choices that are responsible to self, to others and to the organization.
