Electrical Safety

Electrical Health and Safety

"Electrical Safety" is for all workers who work around electricity and electrical equipment. Electrical accidents can damage equipment, putting companies "out of production" for days or even weeks. Sparks from frayed wires and machinery can start fires and cause explosions. Electricity can harm people even more directly through shock and electrical burns. Your employees will learn how electricity works, how to work with it safely, and how to properly respond to an emergency involving electricity. Delivery formats include CD-ROM, LAN, WAN, Intranet, Internet. The course can be customized to meet your site-specific needs. It is currently available in English, French and Spanish, and other language tracks can be added.

Electrical Safety
Electricity is all around us. It lights up our homes... powers much of the machinery and equipment that we use... and runs many of our tools. We are so used to it, most employees take it for granted. Yet electricity can also be dangerous. Employees need to know how electricity works, and what they should do to protect themselves from its hazards. "Electrical Safety" provides the information employees need to work safely around electricity. The Course also satisfies the OSHA training requirements under 29 CFR Part 1910.331 for "non-qualified" employees.
