In this course, workers will learn how to safely work with hand and power tools. They will learn to use the correct tool for the job and never to substitute a makeshift or inferior tool. Workers will learn how to anticipate job hazards before they occur and the proper use of personal protective equipment. Some of the tools covered include striking, cutting, power, gas-powered and pressure driven tools. Delivery formats include CD-ROM, LAN, WAN, Intranet, Internet. The course can be customized to meet your site-specific needs. It is currently available in English, but other language tracks can be added.
