Over 70,000 chemicals are used by industry. Some 15,000 chemicals are made in industrial laboratories on a large scale today, and between 500 and 1,000 new chemicals are introduced each year. This purpose of this training is to prepare workers by providing the information necessary to help those persons involved in hazardous materials to be able to respond effectively to any emergency. Delivery formats include CD-ROM, LAN, WAN, Intranet, Internet. The course can be customized to meet your site-specific needs. It is currently available in English, but other language tracks can be added.

HAZWOPER: Identifying Hazardous Materials
This course is required training for emergency responders and is designed to lay the groundwork for a variety of HAZWOPER skills, including the definitions of TLV, TWA, TLV-C, methods of exposure, dusts, fumes, gases, compressed gas cylinders, and more. This course can be used to train personnel in HAZWOPER or general safety relating to hazardous waste and chemicals.
