Process Safety and Emergency Response
Interactive multimedia training is a self-paced method of providing stimulating educational presentations through digital video sessions, interactive questions, and final competency testing that is automatically recorded in an effective reporting system using a computer training station, rather than a classroom.
To meet the host employer s compliance requirements of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.119 (h) (2) (ii) (iv) which requires hired contractors to be informed of the hazards that may be caused by their work, site-specific safe work practices and plant emergency procedures, this easy to use course presents the following lessons:
1. An introduction to this facility s efforts to share information concerning the responsibilities contractors must meet while working in your ammonia process safety environment
2. Properties of anhydrous ammonia
3. First aid for ammonia exposure
4. Overview of your ammonia process safety program
5. How to visually identify components of your ammonia process safety system
6. Emergency response procedures to follow in the event of a release
At the conclusion of each lesson, a series of interactive questions are asked with immediate remedial re-training in the event of incorrect answers. All contractor learner data entry functions, performance evaluations, and completion data are tracked with Mastery Technology s course administration runtime system. The cost of this course includes:
NRG consultation on script development specific to your facility.
Digital filming of all required facility-specific video footage.
Audio recordings of all necessary voice-overs
Creation of all facility-specific graphic screens and interactive questions
