CD-ROM based training modules allow for individualized pace and practice, prevent failure through self-correcting feedback, can be available anytime at work or at home, and provide documentation for supervisory and regulatory review. Human service organizations are mandated to provide training to employees in critical health and safety topics, including Universal Precautions. Employers to provide training and follow certain procedures to ensure employee safety when exposed to blood borne pathogens including HIV and hepatitis viruses. The Universal Precautions module is available on an interactive CD-ROM which includes tests and a printable certificate of completion.

Training Program Details
The Universal Precautions module provides instruction in: Basic vocabulary related to safety from blood borne pathogens, a review of common blood borne disases and risk factors, information about immunization and vaccination, use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and demonstrations of handwashing, spill clean up and waste disposal.
