IEWB-RS is not an upgrade to a previous product designed with IGRP, IPX, AppleTalk, Token Ring, and the Catalyst 5000 series switch in mind. IEWB-RS does not include these technologies as they are no longer tested on in the CCIE Routing & Switching Lab exam. Do not be fooled by the amount of content included in other products on the market as many of these workbooks hold an excessive amount of dead weight from obsolete technologies.
Each lab scenario in IEWB-RS is on average 15 to 17 pages long and covers thirteen different topic arenas. This is approximately the same amount of material as Cisco has publicly stated to be on an average real CCIE Routing & Switching lab exam. IEWB-RS labs are not 5 or 6 page mini-labs as you will see in other workbooks.
IEWB-RS can also be used to simulate the actual CCIE lab exam. Each task within IEWB-RS is assigned a specified point value totaling one-hundred points overall.
