Specific topics include: SQL Server implementor roles and responsibilities; data modeling and data definition concepts; database object creation, such as tables; and basic data retrieval, manipulation, and modification. This course, together with MS SQL Server 6.5 DB Design Il, prepares students for the ‘Implementing a Database Design on Microsoft® SQL Server 6.5 Certification Exam 70-027. Audience This course is designed for database implementors, database administrators, system engineers, developers using Transact-SQL code, Help Desk technicians and Microsoft® Certification Professional candidates. Prerequisites The student is expected to have a working knowledge of relational database theory and database design, SQL Enterprise Manager or isql/w., ANSI-SQL statements, Microsoft Windows® interface, Microsoft Windows NT® Server network operating system, Microsoft networking fundamentals.
