Description In this course, students will learn to implement a database design on Microsoft® SQL Server 6.5. Specific topics include: summarizing and modifying data; database object creation, such as stored procedures and triggers; data referential integrity; the implementation of distributed data in a client/server environment; and the extensibility of SQL Server. This course, together with ‘MS SQL Server 6.5 DB Design I’, prepares students for the ‘Implementing a Database Design on Microsoft SQL Server 6.5 Certification Exam 70-027. Audience This course is designed for database implementors, database administrators, system engineers, developers using Transact-SQL code, Help Desk technicians and Microsoft® Certification Professional candidates. Prerequisites The student is expected to have a working knowledge of Relational database theory and database design, SQL Enterprise Manager or isql/w., ANSI-SQL statements, The Microsoft Windows® interface, Microsoft Windows NT® Server network operating system, Microsoft networking fundamentals. The student is expected to have successfully completed the 'MS SQL Server DB Design I Course'.
