DescriptionThis course provides students with an introduction to the core technologies, architecture, and various features of Microsoft Site Server 3.0. It also provides students with the preliminary knowledge and skills required for planning and installing Site Server 3.0 and configuring Site Server 3.0 components. In addition, the course prepares students to take the Microsoft certification exam on Implementing and Supporting Web Sites Using Microsoft Site Server 3.0. AudienceThis course is intended for all System Administrators, Help Desk/Support personnel, and Application Developers who plan, design, implement, manage or troubleshoot a Corporate internet/extranet/intranet web site. PrerequisitesThe student should be familiar with Internet/intranet/extranet terms and concepts. The student should also have an understanding of TCP/IP Concepts and Essentials. Web Server Technologies, and Windows NT 4.0 Server. In addition, the student should be familiar with the installation procedure of Windows NT 4.0 Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or a later version, and IIS 4.0 or a later version.
