Description

This course provides students with the skills necessary to monitor, optimize and troubleshoot the Site Server deployment.  The WBT familiarizes students the various setup, network, and application problems and enables them to take appropriate troubleshooting actions.  In addition, the course prepares students to take the Microsoft certification exam: Implementing and Supporting Web Sites Using Microsoft Site Server 3.0.

Audience

This course is intended for all System Administrators, Help Desk/Support personnel, and Application Developers who plan, design, implement, manage or troubleshoot a Corporate internet/extranet/intranet web site.

Prerequisites

The student should be familiar with Internet/intranet/extranet terms and concepts. The student should also have an understanding of TCP/IP Concepts and Essentials. Web Server Technologies, and Windows NT 4.0 Server. In addition, the student should be familiar with the installation procedure of Windows NT 4.0, Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or a later version, and IIS 4.0 or a later version.
