Description
This course is designed to teach programmers how to use the Advanced Windowing Tookit of Java. In addition it prepares students for the Sun Certified Java Programmer Examination for JDK 1.1.
Audience
Experienced programmers who want to learn how to develop web applications using Java
Prerequisites
Familiarity with C++ or any other object-oriented programming language. The audience should also be familiar with the internet and internet terminology.
Objective
Upon the completion of this course, the student will be able to:

use the methods of the Graphics class to draw different graphics primitives
create a simple animated applet
identify the two ways in which you can eliminate flashing in animations
identify the structure of the Component class
