Description

This course provides the student with ways to configure SQL Server and managing data in SQL Server.  It also presents ways to manage various administrative tasks.  In addition, the course prepares the student to take the Microsoft Certification Administering Microsoft SQL Server 7.0.

Audience

This course is intended for all System Administrators, Help Desk/Support personnel, and Application Developers who implement a database solution with Microsoft SQL Server client/server database management system. This course would also help IT professionals seeking Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer or Certified Product Specialist status.

Prerequisites

The student should be familiar with the relational database concepts and terminology and should have an experience in designing database management systems. The student should also have an understanding of Windows NT 4.0 Server and should have a knowledge of basic ANSI statements.
