Description
This course enables the student to plan a backup and restoration strategy for preventing data loss. It also provides the student with an introduction to SQL security concepts and the security accounts used by SQL Server. In addition, the course prepares the student to take the Microsoft Certification Administering Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 (70-028).
Audience
This course is intended for all System Administrators, Help Desk/Support personnel, and Application Developers who implement a database solution with Microsoft SQL Server client/server database management system.
Prerequisites
The student should be familiar with the relational database concepts and terminology and should have an experience in designing database management systems. The student should also have an understanding of Windows NT 4.0 Server and should have a knowledge of basic ANSI statements.
Objective
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
