Description

This course teaches the student how to monitor and optimize the SQL Server performance.  The student will learn how to detect and troubleshoot various problems that occur while installing SQL Server 7.0 and when establishing client connections.   The student will also learn about different replication and backup problems and how to troubleshoot the same.

Audience

This course is intended for technical managers and desktop system specialists and administrators who implement a database solution with Microsoft SQL Server client/server database management system.

Prerequisites

An understanding of Windows NT 4.0 Server and Windows 95/98.

Objective

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
