Description
This course teaches the student how to create stored procedures, manage distributed data and transactions. The student will also learn the importance of locks and how to troubleshoot a deadlock. Finally the student will learn how to optimize the query execution plan developed by SQL Server. The Implementing SQL Server curriculum prepares the student for the Microsoft Exam 70-029.
Audience
This course is intended for technical managers and application developers who implement a database solution with Microsoft SQL Server client/server database management system.
Prerequisites
An understanding of Windows NT 4.0 Server and Windows 95/98.
