Description
This course provides the student with an introduction to the core technologies, concepts, architecture, and various features of data warehouses. It also provides the student with the preliminary knowledge for planning and implementing data warehouses using SQL Server 7.0 In addition, the course prepares students to take the Microsoft Certification Administering Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 (70-019).
Audience
This course is intended for all system administrators, help desk/support personnel, and application developers who design and implement data warehouse solutions by using Microsoft SQL Server 7.0.
Prerequisites
The student should be familiar with the relational database and data warehousing concepts and terminology and should have an experience in designing database management systems. The student should also have an understanding of Windows NT 4.0 Server and should have a knowledge of basic ANSI statements.
