DescriptionThis course teaches the student how to design a database and enhance the efficiency of queries by using different types of indexes. It also describes the process of crating files and filegroups and helps students to select an application programming interface for accessing a data source. In addition, the course prepares students to take the Microsoft Certification Administering Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 (70-019). AudienceThis course is intended for all system administrators, help desk/support personnel, and application developers who design and implement data warehouse solutions by using Microsoft SQL Server 7.0. PrerequisitesThe student should be familiar with the relational database and data warehousing concepts and terminology and should have an experience in designing database management systems.
